Margherita Pizza Crossiants 

You’ll need:

1 package of croissant dough

1/2 cup of pizza sauce

Basil leaves, chopped

8 oz. mozzarella cheese, cut in small chunks

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp. olive oil

Preheat the oven to 350. Rip the croissant dough at perforated sections. Spoon a dollop of sauce into the middle, and follow with a small portion of basil, and a chunk of mozzarella cheese (about the size of a nickel.) Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and fold up into a pocket. Brush with olive oil and bake until dough is golden brown on the folds.
