Today’s meal at a small restaurant after a walk by the Arno River.
The wine was a slap in the face but the spaghetti ragu (meat based sauce) was amazing. We dined on bruschetta that tasted very authentic; the tomatoes were ripe and juicy, and the bread soaked in heavy olive oil. For something sweet I ordered a dessert wine, Vin Santo, in which you dip almond biscotti in. The wine was sickening! We all tried it and laughed at each others faces.
